Split Sheet

Split one sheet by row count and customize output names with your own base label and numbering style.

How it works

Upload an Excel file and select the sheet you want to split.
Set the number of rows per chunk and customize the output naming style.
Click Split to download a workbook with each chunk as a separate sheet.

Why use this tool

Break oversized sheets into manageable pieces for import limits, email attachments, or batch processing without losing your header row.

FAQ

Is the header row included in every chunk?

Yes. The header row from the original sheet is automatically repeated in each output chunk.

Can I split by a column value instead of row count?

Currently the tool splits by fixed row count only. Column-based splitting is planned.

What naming styles are available?

You can use numeric (01, 02), alphabetic (A, B), or custom token sequences.
